Liheap Application 2024 Illinois Application. Applying households must be disconnected, have an active disconnection notice, or have at least one member who is either under 6, over 60 or disabled. Beginning october 1, 2024, eligible families can apply by visiting helpillinoisfamilies.com or by visiting their local agency (a list of partners throughout the state can be found here).

Liheap will begin accepting applications on october 2, 2023, through august 15, 2024, or until funds are exhausted. All other income eligible households can start applying november 1, 2024.
